He was predeceased by: his father Edward William; his wife Joyce Richards Pollitt; his son-in-law Blynn Bratten; and his sister-in-law Jeanette Catlin. He is survived by: his daughter Lynne Pollitt Bratten of Salisbury, MD; his grandchildren, Jennifer (Timothy Tusing) of Fruitland, MD and Andrew (Jessica Bratten) of Severna Park, MD; his great grandchildren, Mary, Edith Tusing, Josephine and Zachary Bratten; his nephew Richard Catlin of Salisbury; and his niece Janet McIntyre of Mount Vernon.
