She was loved and cherished by many people including: her husband Richard K. Matta; her children, Stephen Matta (Lisa), Kevin Matta (Claire) and Lauren Matta (Cody Zhang); her grandchildren, Julia of Natalie, JD, Ellie and Sean; her siblings, Jay Ludwicki (Jeanne) and Kathy Havey (Paul); and her parents, Chester Ludwicki and Margaret Ludwicki. She was also cherished by nieces, nephews, and many other loving relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in Karen's name to the American Cancer Society.
