It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Roland Alexander Dyson of Port Tobacco, Maryland, who passed away on November 19, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Alexander Dyson, Sr. and Anna Christiana Mills-Dyson; his siblings, Robert, Edward, Matthew Dyson, Gladys Dyson, Dorothy Thompson, Helen Dyson, Margaret Gant, Catherine Jones and Mary Bernice Chisley; and his grandson Justin Dyson.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Chilly, Chris, Nace, Snorter, Crow, Flipper, Mary Lou and Pamela Lynn; his children, Stephen, Deborah, Danita, Phyllis, Jeffery and Derek; his children-in-law, Barry Wilson, Gregory Jackson, Renee Dyson and Megan Dyson; his nephew Leroy Wills; and his close friend Francis Savoy. He is also survived by nieces, nephews, great-nieces and great-nephews, as well as other relatives and friends.
In lieu of flowers, the family has requested remembrances to be made in the form of contributions to the Catholic Charities Angel's Watch Shelter Hughesville.
