With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Robert William Douglas Sr. of Ocean Pines, Maryland, who passed away on February 12, 2025 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Leroy Douglas and Cecilia Douglas; and his wife Shirley. He is survived by: his children, Bob Douglas Jr., Bill Douglas and Ann Holtz; his grandchildren, Nicholas Douglas, Danielle Patterson (Bob), Michael Holtz (Alona) and Amanda Holtz; his great grandchild Bobby Patterson; and his brother Donald Douglas (Eileen). He is also survived by nieces, nephews.
Visitation was held on Monday, February 24th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Burbage Funeral Home (108 Williams St, Berlin, MD 21811). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Tuesday, February 25th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the St. Luke's Catholic Church (9903 Coastal Hwy, Ocean City, MD 21842). A burial will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the Calvary Cemetery (2417 Pleasant Valley Blvd, Altoona, PA 16601).
