She was predeceased by: her parents, Carl L. Wells and Grace Ellen Wells (Rayne); her husband William G. Cropper; her brother Carl William Wells; and her son-in-law Presley L. "Andy" Hayes.
She is survived by: her children, William Carlton Cropper of Newark and Deborah C. Hayes of Charlottesville, VA.; and her grandchildren, Ryan Hayes and Robin Hayes Verrier (Jack).
