It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Joanne D. Mason of Newark, Maryland, who passed away on September 1, 2023, at the age of 92, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her brother James W. Dickerson; her brother-in-law Thomas G. Mason; and her parents, Albert W. Dickerson and Mary Dryden Dickerson. She is survived by: her sister Deborah Lynne Dickerson; her son Ralph L. Mason, III (David A. Mason); her daughter-in-law Abby Gordy Mason; her granddaughters, Alison M. Taylor and Eliza Mason-Burt (Thomas Burt); her great grandchild Mason Seth Hetherington; and her husband Ralph L. Mason, Jr..
Please note that, in view of the fact that the 2020 funeral for Joanne's husband, Ralph, was limited to immediate family by the COVID lock-down, those in the community who were hindered from paying their respects at that time are most welcome to attend this joint memorial service celebrating the lives of both Joanne D. Mason and Ralph L. Mason, Jr.
