He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Thomas W. Bounds of Newark Maryland and Mary Louise Bradford Bounds of Newark Maryland; his children, Eric Bounds (Janet Rogers) of Newark Maryland and Kim Phillips (Brad) of Jacksonville Florida; his siblings, Ronnie Bounds and Bonnie Ward; his grandchildren, Tommy, Noah, Megan, Cole and Emily; and his great grandchild Colton. He was also cherished by numerous nieces and nephews.
