It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Arthur Gaines of Nanjemoy, Maryland, who passed away on August 26, 2020, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clara Gaines and Robert Gaines; his brothers, Robert Jr., Paul and Charles Gaines; and his brothers-in-law, Clifton Jackson and Charles Milstead (Smokey).
He is survived by: his daughters, Demetria Daise (Ray) and Alicia Cole-Davis (Lawrence); his grandchildren, Maulik, Kevin, Tiyeara, Meeshaun, Rayana, Rashaun, Dearontr, Gervont, Shaquna and Kevonte; and his siblings, Doris Dent (Bernard), Mary Ann Milstead, Annie Jackson, Bertha McKenzie (Steve), Margaret Singletary (Jesro), Joseph Gaines (Agnes) and Thomas Gaines (Yvonne). He is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and other relatives and friends.
