She was predeceased by: her parents, Cecil Ward and Grace Ward (Holbert); her siblings, James K. Ward, William Lee Ward, Junior Ward and Grace Ann Wells; and her siblings-in-law, Ruth Ward and Carl Lambert.

She is survived by: her husband Charles Robert DeVault; her children, Robert Charles DeVault of Lonaconing, Stephen Daniel DeVault of Springfield, WV, Joseph Lee DeVault of Westernport and Patricia Jean Long (Steven) of Keyser, WV; and her siblings, Richard Lee Ward of Gatonsville, Donald Ray Ward (Eunice) of Cumberland and Anna Lee Lambert of Lebanon, PA. She is also survived by seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren.
