He was predeceased by: his parents, William David Patterson, Sr. and Ann Penny Patterson. He is survived by: his wife Sandra Shuck Patterson; his children, Ann Patterson (Rob Schanberger, Jr.) and Patrick Shuck (Rebecca); his grandsons, Max, Logan, Tre, Wyatt and Caleb; and his siblings, Mike Patterson, Marie Haines, Beth Hoff and Steve Patterson.

Visitation will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 from 1:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Eckhardt Funeral Chapel (3296 Charmil Dr, Manchester, MD 21102). A funeral service will be held on Friday, February 28th 2025 at 3:00 PM at the same location.
