He was predeceased by: his parents, Arthur William Herbig and Rosemarie Voges Herbig; and his brother Donald Richard Herbig. He is survived by: his wife Phyllis Carol Herbig; and his children, Robert William Herbig, Jr. of Lexington Park, MD, John Arthur Herbig (Rhonda) of California, MD and Kimberly Elizabeth Wilkinson of Avenue, MD. He is also survived by 10 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
