She was predeceased by: her parents, Russell C. Peer and Dorothy Blanche Peer Seitz (McDermott); her husband Perry E. Steele; her son Ricky Steele; her siblings, Beryl Smith, Cecelia McNally and Donald Russell Peer; and her great grandchild Justin Somervlle.
She is survived by: her children, Candy Sue Parsley (Robert), Timothy Q. Steele (Melissa Michaels), Christopher P. Steele (Karen) and Jason D. Steele (Jeannetta); her grandchildren, Amanda A. Parsley, Cassandra L. Somerville, Amber M. Steele, Zachary Michaels, Bailey R. Steele, Jonathan A. Steele, Lucinda H. Steele, Donovan Michaels and Georgia F. Steele; her great grandchildren, Devin E. Henderson, Camille D. Somerville and Rhys D. Somerville; and her sister Dolores Marino.
