He is survived by: his mother Martha Elaine (Wood); his wife Kathy Trossbach Wheeler; his children, Jami Lachkovic (Jonathan) of Lexington Park, MD, James Wheeler II, Christopher Wheeler (Nicole) of California, MD and Jessica Wheeler (Jordan) of Lexington Park, MD.; his siblings, Joe Wheeler (Jan) of St. Inigoes, MD, Robert Wheeler (Marion) of Indian Head and Patty Thomas (Larry) of Lexington Park, MD.; and his grandchildren, Brianna, Natalie, Emily, Isabella, Brandie, Tamya, Jaylen, Mackenzee, James III, Hayden, Charlie, Anthony, Zion, Jordan Jr. and Rylee.
