He was predeceased by: his parents, Curtis Hamilton and Charlotte Lucille Jones. He is survived by: his wife Dorathy Louise Hamilton; his children, Derrek Hamilton of Belvidere, IL, Samira Hamilton of Las Vegas, NV, Simonetta Hamilton of Santa Barbara, CA, Russell Miller of Lexington Park, MD and Christopher Miller (Jenil) of Lexington Park, MD; and his sister Fay Hargrove of Mt. Airy, GA. He is also survived by eight grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; and many extended family and friends.
The family has asked that donations be made to the Lexington Park United Methodist Church for the missionary purposes of drilling a drinking well in the Southern Philippine Islands where the family has ties.
