She was predeceased by: her children, John Francis Carroll, Jr., Jeffrey Owen Carroll and Joyce Ann Carroll; her grandsons, John Francis Carroll, III and Jeffrey Carroll; her daughter-in-law Vickie Lynn Carroll; her siblings, Felix Hill, Frank Somerville, Henry Somerville, Mary Elizabeth Parker and Margaret Madeline Fenwick; her in-laws, George H. Fenwick, Lucy Dudley, Virginia Porter, Helen Robinson, Augustus Carroll, Charles Carroll, Tolbert Carroll, Thomas Carroll and Paul Carroll; and her godsons, George Emerick Fenwick and Raymond "Puddin" Chase, Jr..
She is survived by: her children, David, Martin, Joan (Ronnie), Maurice and Christopher, Sr.; her grandchildren, David, Donyell, Jawaan, DeWayne, Joshua, Kevin and Christopher, Jr.; her sister-in-law Sarah Chase of Lexington Park, MD; her godchildren, Brenda F. Butler, Michael Fenwick, Sr. and Debbie Short; her cousin Theresa Barber Morgan; her niece Cathy Bush; her husband John Francis Carroll, Sr.; and also DeeDee Sewell. She is also survived by 18 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren.
