He was loved and cherished by many people including: his husband Doris M. Simms; his children, Ben Simms (Joanne) and Wayne Simms (Tracey); his grandchildren, Michelle, Katelyn, Rob and Brooke; his great grandchild Emma; his sibling Betty Shock; his husband Richard Hooten; and also Cindy Hooten (Gary). He was also cherished by nieces and nephews.
