He was predeceased by: his grandparents, Howard, Jean Jamison, Jacqueline and George Kinsey. He is survived by: his father Stephen Potts Kinsey; his brother Stephen Potts Kinsey II; his sister-in-law Susan Brown Kinsey; his niece Lila; and his nephew Drew Kinsey.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made in Ryan's memory to Parkville Adaptive Lacrosse Program.
