With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Ray Moats of Hancock, Maryland, who passed away on February 11, 2021 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Roy Calvin Moats and Bridget A. Moats (Weller); and his siblings, Homer E. Moats, Leroy E. Moats, Paul J. Moats, Sr., Helen Pittman, Shelva Jean Crouse and Mary Jane Stuckey.
He is survived by: his wife Tammy Faye Moats (Kerns); his daughters, Terra L. Strait (Warren) of Warfordsburg and Cynthia K. Weller (Roger) of Hancock; his grandchildren, Anthony Calvin Strait of Warfordsburg, Logan Reed Strait of Warfordsburg and Joy Lynne Ward (Eugene) of Warfordsburg; his great grandchildren, Macey and Hunter; and his siblings, Herman B. Moats, Betty J. Hixon, Veriee Weller, Etta Mae Younker and Rosalie C. Ward.
