She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvey Reed and Goldie Hull Reed; her former husbands, Richard Shives, Sr. and Mick Ricketts; and her sisters, Elsie Weaver, Hazy Fritz and Evelyn Reed.
She is survived by: her husband Kenneth Sharer; her children, Richard Shives (Craig Miller) of Cumberland, MD., Kendra Atherton (Terry) of Falling Waters, WV. and Kamela Lee (Bob Rhodes) of Big Pool, MD.; her stepsons, Kenny Sharer (Cindy) of Falling Waters, WV. and Brian Dietrich (Trish) of Clear Spring, MD; her grandchildren, Kelly (Tim), Kerri (Michael), Korey (Jeremy), Jacob (Ashley), Josh, Jarred (Jozzie), Ashley (Shaun), Lexi and Heather; her great grandchildren, Kylee, Tyler, Kierslyn, Michael Kade, Kennadi, Kamilyn, Emmy, Caleb, Owen, Wilder, Zayne and Shalyn; her great great grandchildren, Delaney and Scarlett; and her sisters, Edna Hart and Edie Martin. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
