He is survived by: his sons, Gregory Lynn Mellott of Hancock and Ricky Dewayne Mellott, Sr. (Dale Woodley) of Everett Pa; his goddaughter Kimberly Lynn Dove (Jimmie) of Warfordsburg; his grandchildren, Leslie Dawn Caldwell (Mike) of Berkeley Springs, W. V and Ricky Dewayne Mellott, Jr. of Hancock; and his great grandchildren, Destiny Marie Mellott and Peyton Michael Caldwell.

In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made to the Dementia Society of America, 188 North Main Street, Doylestown, Pa. 18901.
