It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Geraldine M. Walter of Hancock, Maryland, who passed away on December 1, 2023, at the age of 85, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, John Defina and Mary Havlicek Defina; her husband Joseph Walter; and her brothers, John "Ronnie" Defina and Frank "Sonny" Defina.
She is survived by: her children, Joey Walter of Falling Waters, WV., David Walter of Martinsburg, WV., Danny Walter of Needmore, PA. and Jenny Lillis of Phoenix, AZ.; her siblings, Bonnie Orem of Warfordsburg, PA. and Mike Defina of Semora, NC.; and her pet Babe. She is also survived by twelve grandchildren; eighteen great-grandchildren.
