He was predeceased by: his mothers, Nona Moats (Younker) and Maxine Ruby Moats (Deneen); and his grandchildren, Michael Morris, Joel Martin and Kathleen Hendershott.
He is survived by: his children, Anita J. Morris of Hancock, Roberta A. Martin of Chambersburg, Linda F. Martin of Greencastle and Keith E. Moats of Clear Spring; and his siblings, Charlotte Younker of Mercersburg, Eva Wileman of Chambersburg, Molly Shaw of Warfordsburg, LaFay Mueller of Boonsboro, Darlene Yonker of Nichols, S. Car, Wilton Moats of Mont Alto and Ennis Moats of Chambersburg. He is also survived by ten grandchildren; and fifteen great-grandchildren.
