With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eleanor Arlene Reed (Hancock, Maryland), born in Buck, Pennsylvania, who passed away on December 27, 2019 at the age of 86. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, William Carnell and Beatrice Emily Ward Carnell; her husband Roger William "Short" Reed; her significant other James Stahle; her children, Roger Eugene Reed, Sr. and Connie Sue Reed; and her brother Merrill Eugene "Gene" Carnell.
She is survived by: her daughters, Cheryl Arlene McCarty (Tom Graham) of Berkeley Springs and Cindy Lea Fox (Daniel) of Berkeley Springs; her grandchildren, Michelle McCarty of Hagerstown, MD, Roger Eugene Reed, Jr. of Hancock, Jeremy Steven Fox, Sr. of Berkeley Springs, Dana Marie Fox of Berkeley Springs, Christopher Daniel Fox of Berkeley Springs, Ashleigh Janelle Lutman of Berkeley Springs, Daniel Marvin "Dude" Fox, Jr. of Berkeley Springs and Joshua Ivan Graham of Berkeley Springs; and her great grandchildren, Matthew William Reed of Warfordsburg, PA, Ericah Elizabeth Younker of Hagerstown, Brooke Renae Fox of Berkeley Springs, Savannah Leigh Fox of Berkeley Springs, Jeremy Steven "Bub" Fox, Jr. of Berkeley Springs, Angelina Nevaeh Fox of Berkeley Springs and Blaytin Marvin Glenn Fox of Berkeley Springs. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the funeral home to help defray funeral expenses.
