It is always difficult saying goodbye to someone we love and cherish. Family and friends must say goodbye to their beloved Della Wachter of Hancock, Maryland, who passed away at the age of 90, on December 3, 2020. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, George William and Mary Eva Peck (Spade); her son Steven D. Wachter; and her grandson Edward Richard "Ricky" Smith. She is survived by: her husband Ralph E. "Buddy" Wachter; her daughter Mary L. Jones (Norman L., Jr.) of Danville; her grandson Norman L. Jones; her daughter Barbara J. Smith of Hagerstown; her grandchildren, Kimberly Girard (CL) of Prince Frederick, Caitlyn and William Reid Wachter of Hagerstown; her siblings, Gregory Peck (Sarah) of Warfordsburg, Norma J. Strait of Warfordsburg and Ina P. Livingston of Christ Church; and her great grandchildren, Avery, Benjamin, Mac Jones, Jack, Grace Maloyed, Cooper Jones, Nicholas, Skylar Girard, Morgan and Shelby Smith. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Due to COVID concerns, a private graveside service will be held at the convenience of the family, with Rev. F. Allan Weatherholt, Jr. officiating.
