He was predeceased by: his parents, Harold A. Burnett and Magdalene M. Burnett (Fox); his significant other Dorothy H. Sites-Burnett (Weller); and his sister Ruth Elizabeth Burnett. He is survived by: his sister Barbara L. Flowers (James, Jr.) of Hancock; his children, Charles "Buddy" Burnett, Jr. (Melina) of Hagerstown and Robin Vanorsdale (Ricky) of Berkeley Springs, W. V; his grandchildren, Charles "CJ" Burnett, Erika Burnett, Misty Erickson (Vanorsdale) and Rickey Vanorsdale; his great grandchildren, Melissa, Riley, Neimiah, Alaric and Freya; and his nephews, Denny and David Flowers.
