She was predeceased by: her parents, Thomas H. Snyder and Glennie M. Snyder (Wiley); her sister Tina M. Snyder; her brother-in-law Kenneth King; and her pet Freckles.
She is survived by: her husband Robert Whittington; her daughters, Amy L. Marks (Timothy A.) of Mechanicsburg, PA, Bobbi J. Horne (Joseph W.) of Baltimore, MD and Krista M. Vanderford (Thomas N.) of Hagerstown, MD.; her grandchildren, Adam T. Kane, Alyssa K. Kane, Madelyn E. Kane, McKenzie N. Horne, Riley W. Horne, Kayla M. Vanderford, Maya E. Vanderford and Samuel T. Vanderford; her siblings, Kathy A. King of Hagerstown, MD, Ronald L. Snyder (Nancy) of Moneta, VA and Donald H. Snyder (Audrey) of Reading, PA; and her pet Sophie. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins.
Visitation was held on Monday, October 28th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service was held on Tuesday, October 29th 2024 at 10:00 AM at the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church (11379 Big Pool Rd, Big Pool, MD 21711).
