He was predeceased by: his parents, Ray S. Brandenburg and Rae I. Brandenburg (Hauver); his wife Elizabeth Ann Brandenburg; and his siblings, Ray Brandenburg, Jr., Gene Brandenburg, Arthur Brandenburg, Betty Burgee and Carolyn Fishack.
He is survived by: his sons, Harold A. Brandenburg, Jr. (Linda) of Hagerstown, MD and Jeffrey L. Brandenburg (Lauri) of Durham, NC; his grandchildren, William A. Brandenburg, D. Nicholas Brandenburg, John O. Brandenburg and Joanna Rae Brandenburg; and his sisters, Judi Brandenburg and Nancy Brandenburg.
Visitation was held on Tuesday, November 5th 2024 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Douglas A. Fiery Funeral Home (1331 Eastern Blvd N, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A graveside service was held on Wednesday, November 6th 2024 at 1:30 PM at the Rest Haven Cemetery (1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to St. John's Lutheran Church, 141 S. Potomac St., Hagerstown, MD 21740.
