She is survived by: her husband Melvin Helman of Hagerstown; her children, Bradley Helman and Sherri Russler; her grandchildren, Garrett Russler, Jayce Russler and Journi Russler of Falling Waters, WV.; and her siblings, Roy Cordell, Elsie Stoops, H. Russell Cordell, Fay Adams of Chambersburg, PA, Kay Hite, Paul Cordell, Delores Barton, John Cordell and Winston Cordell of Greencastle, PA..

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations can be made to St. Jude Children's Research Hospital as this was Dorothy's favorite charitable organization.
