He was predeceased by: his mother Frances Houser; his grandmother Charlotte; his brother Johnnie; his son Christopher; and his granddaughter Sierra.
He is survived by: his wife Diane; his children, Jamie Allen (Sarah) of Palm Coast, FL, Molly Starliper (Donnie) of Waynesboro, PA, Jessica Insley (Dave) of Hagerstown, MD and Candace Ringus (Joey) of Hagerstown, MD; and his siblings, Darlene Exline, Cathy Gay (Jerry), Peggy Ecton, George Houser (JoAnn) and Gail Basford (Joe). He is also survived by 20 grandchildren, and 8 great-grandchildren; many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the Rest Haven Funeral Home (1601 Pennsylvania Ave, Hagerstown, MD 21742). A funeral service was held on Thursday, November 14th 2024 at 6:00 PM at the same location.
Monetary donations can be made to Rest Haven by calling 301-733-3575 or stopping by the funeral home office between 8:30-4:30 in lieu of flowers or given to wife Diane to help cover some unexpected cost.
