He was predeceased by: his parents, Mary Ruth Norris Woodburn and Richard Dellie Woodburn; his sisters, Janice Ann Hayden, Mary Ruth Bowles and Erva Mae Woodburn; and his brothers-in-law, Vincent Hayden and Ralph Bowles.
He is survived by: his spouse Jean Elizabeth Payne Woodburn; his daughters, Marjorie Woodburn Ludwig (Jeff Maiura) of Great Mills, MD and Laura Jean Woodburn of Great Mills, MD.; his granddaughters, Sara Elizabeth Ballard (Kyle) of Callaway, MD and Megan Kathleen Ludwig (Matt Bless) of California, MD; and his great grandchildren, Lane Houston Ballard and Eden Marjorie Ballard. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
