He was predeceased by: his parents, Owen Stanton and Mabel Stanton (Broadwater); and his siblings, David Stanton and Deborah Haning. He is survived by: his wife Mary Elizabeth Stanton (Warszawski); his children, Brian Joseph Stanton (Vicki), Rachel Ann Stanton of Austin, TX and Holly Elizabeth Stanton of McHenry, MD; his brother Douglas Stanton; and his grandchildren, Henry Owen and Irene Anna.
