He is survived by: his children, Jino Matthews (George), Wanda King, Songsarae King-Jones (Joseph) and Sheryl Cannon; his niece Shelley Johnson; his nephew Eugene King (Chuckie); his cousin Marshall "Jackie" Smith; his sons-in-law, George Matthews and Joseph Jones, Jr.; and his sisters-in-law, Nora Tyson, Dorothy Smith and Teresa Norine King. He is also survived by 12 grandkids, 20 great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren, nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives, and friends.
