She was predeceased by: her parents, Hazel Heimes and Everett E. Johnson; and her husband John J. Grolig, IV. She is survived by: her sister Carol; her sons, Kevin and Jeffrey Grolig; her grandchildren, Kristen K. Grolig, Ashley P. Grolig, Kelsey L. Grolig, James "Jake" Grolig and Amanda J. Grolig; and her sister Barbara Bourland.
On Tuesday, August 1, 2023 of Gaithersburg, MD following a lengthy battle with Alzheimer's Disease.
