She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, William Sheppard and Ola Sheppard (Costello); her husband Bob; her siblings, Dave Sheppard of Hagerstown, Sam Sheppard of Hagerstown and Helen "Bunny" Sheppard Higginbotham (Louis) of Dunnellon, FL; her son Scott Payne (Candace) of Damascus; her stepchildren, Tammy Donovan (Patrick) of Mt. Airy and Kenneth Kuykendall (Crystal) of Laurel; her grandchildren, Kelly Payne of Damascus, Steven White (Lauren) of Laurel, Christopher White (Stephanie) of Virginia Beach and Logan Donovan of Winter Park, FL; and her great grandchildren, Blake White and Elliott White.
The family has asked that in lieu of flowers a donation be made in her name to the American Heart Association.
