He was predeceased by: his parents, Ferdinand W. Dommel and Jane Dommel; his former wife Judy; his nephew David Michael Dommel; and his niece Alison Harrigan.
He is survived by: his siblings-in-law, Juan Gonzalez (Maria Fernanda) and Martha Franco (Carlos); and his nieces and nephews, Debbie Daymude, Elizabeth Haines (John), Lorraine Dommel, Tommy Dommel (Lauren), Michael Harrigan (Marta), Alejandra Franco and Emma Gonzalez. He is also survived by cousins, many close friends, and his beloved dog.
