He is survived by: his father Larry Sturgis of Salisbury, MD; his children, Brittany Jackson of Princess Anne, MD, Kleshae Sturgis of Hanover, MD, Kevin of Salisbury, MD, Aamiyah of Salisbury, MD, Tyreke of Salisbury, MD and Kevasia Sturgis of Salisbury, MD; his grandson Jace Elder of Princess Anne, MD.; his aunts, Reverend Ernestine Jones and Alvera Stewart; his uncle Leonard Waters, Jr. of Salisbury, MD; his siblings, James Pierce, Gloria Sturgis of Baltimore, MD and Daphne Sturgis of Baltimore, MD; his cousin Kevin; his sister Michele Jones-Armstrong; and his brother-in-law Deangelo Stone. He is also survived by friends who were more like brothers, in addition to cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family and friends.
