We are sad to announce that on December 9, 2021 we had to say goodbye to Ida Stanford of Fruitland, Maryland. She was predeceased by: her parents, Albert Shockley Sr. and Carrie Shockley Leatherbury; her siblings, Albert Shockley Jr. and Estella Bacon; and her great grandchild Markeese Stanford.
She is survived by: her children, Virginia Wigfall (Sherwood) of Salisbury, Gary Stanford Sr. (Denise) of Catonsville and Marsha Hankerson of Delmar, Maryland; and her nephew Romell Bacon Sr. of Baltimore, Maryland. She is also survived by six grandchildren; eighteen great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends.
