She was predeceased by: her parents, Wavie Gibson, Sr. and Cora Lee Gibson. She is survived by: her children, Elnora "Peaches" Gibson, Willie L. Hunter, Jr. (Karen), Norris Hunter, Sr., Anthony Roper and Cory Hunter; and her siblings, Rebecca Palmer (Roland) and Dr. Wavie Gibson, Jr.. She is also survived by 18 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren; a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, and friends.
