He was predeceased by: his parents, Felipe Bazan and Carmen Bazan; his sister Alice Phillips; and his brother-in-law A. C. Phillips. He is survived by: his wife Shirley E. Bazan; his stepdaughter Christine Bennett (Eric); his grandchildren, Lydia of Michigan, Evan of Michigan and Eli Bennett of Michigan; his nieces, Tina Sutcavage and Lisa Jackson of California; his brothers-in-law, Donald and Robert Haugh; and his friends, Rick Fagan and Ed Stup. He is also survived by nieces, nephews and other family members.
