He was predeceased by: his parents, William John Pfau and Florence Marie Pfau (Reidel); his parents-in-law, John and Mary Kane of Virginia; his brother Paul Pfau; and his brothers-in-law, Fred Laws, Matthew Kane and Joseph Kane.
He is survived by: his wife Jean Pfau; his children, Aubrey Mohler (Thomas), Melissa Jeffries (Ryan), Paul Pfau (MaryKathryn McArthur), Matthew Pfau (Lauren) and Timothy Pfau (Amanda); his grandchildren, Isla, Jack, Mackenzie, Kennedy and Quinn; and his sisters, Laura Zink (John), Diane Laws and Nancy Pfau (Robert Orenstein). He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews.
