She was predeceased by: her husband Kenneth M. Poling; her parents, Charles Metzer and Elsie Metzer (Palmer); her son Mark Poling; and her siblings, Fae Souders, Robert Metzer, Charles Metzer IV, Ralph Metzer, Delphine Zimmerman, Zane Metzer and Jerry Metzer.
She is survived by: her children, Kenneth Poling (Dianna) and Kathy Clark (Paul); her daughter-in-law Mary Poling; her granddaughters, Carrie Clark, Christie Nam (John) and Katie Romero (Michael); her great grandchildren, Jasmine Romero and Ephraim Nam; her sisters, Gaynell Myers, Christina Garvin, Sue Douglas, Judy Hamilton and Elsie Bell; and her caregiver Anna Weedon. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to either Salem Community Church or South End Baptist Church.
