He was predeceased by: his brothers, Glenn, George and Charles; and his wife Roberta A. Douglas. He is survived by: his former wife Carol Gartrell; his nephews, Robert, Bob, Lloyd Miller, Clay Miller, Mark Miller and Charles P. Miller IV; his cousin David Fouts; his nieces, Tammy McVey, Judy Williams, Kathy Thieny and Frances McKenny; and his stepchildren, Jeanne Havrilla, Laurie Douglas, Ian Douglas and George Douglas.
Oral Miller earned a Migil Medal from the American Foundation for the Blind in 2014.
