He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred H. Coonley and Nellie B. Coonley; his wife Jeanette; his daughter Julie; his siblings, Lois, Bessie and Norman; and his grandson Mitchell Coonley.
He is survived by: his stepchildren, Joyce (Joseph), Robert, Charles (Sandra) and Daniel. He is also survived by grandchildren, great grandchildren and close nieces and nephews.
