She was predeceased by: her parents, Leroy Poffinberger and Ruth Poffinberger; her former husband Bernard Hale of Lander, Maryland.; her sister Eloise Grove; her brothers-in-law, Eugene Grove and Oscar Fisher Sr.; and her son-in-law David Cage.
She is survived by: her children, Kathy Cage of Orange Park, FL and Michael Hale (Carla) of Frederick, MD; her granddaughters, Jenifer Cage of Middleburg, FL and Heather Hale Hardee (Wayne) of Winterville, NC; her great grandchild Lauren Maze (Dee) of Orange Park, FL.; her siblings, Jean Gilbert (Jim) of Stafford, VA, Alice Fisher of Frederick, MD and Barry Poffinberger (JoAnn) of Boonsboro, MD; and her aunt Adrienne Rhoderick of Middletown. She is also survived by one niece, three nephews and their children.
