She is survived by: her close friend Charles Bittinger; her son Steven Sams; her siblings, David Philpott, William Philpott (Linda), John Cornett, Carol Marshall (Brad), Janet Langenstein, Brenda Burkett and Linda Everett; her grandchildren, Isaiah and Angel Sams; and her nieces and nephews, David Pogue, Stephanie Cline, Sharon Zies, Karen Perry, Robert Philpott, David G. Philpott, Brian Philpott and Kimberly Everly. She is also survived by numerous other nieces and nephews.
