He was predeceased by: his parents, Gideon O. Harne, Jr. and Claudine Smith Harne; and his nephew Lawrence M. Brown. He is survived by: his sister Diane; his brother-in-law Lawrence Brown, Jr. of Frederick, MD; his niece Cortney Claudine Brown; and his close friend Robert Dennis.
