With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Donald Byrd Monroe Jr. in Frederick, Maryland, who passed away on August 20, 2023 at the age of 57. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He is survived by: his wife Carolyn Anne Monroe; his mother Doris Ann Monroe; his sister Ruth Ann Heffner; his brother-in-law Stephen Heffner; his nieces and nephews, Britnee Foster and Danielle Heffner; and his great-nieces and great-nephews, Sylas and Mason Foster. He is also survived by his family and friends.

They went fishing and rode in Poker Runs's for charity, creating lasting memories filled with laughter and love.
