Dolores H. Dreis Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Dolores H. Dreis in Frederick, Maryland, born in Albany, New York, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on February 23, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lawrence A. Schultz II and Amelia A. Schultz; her husband John P. Dreis; her son-in-law Christopher K. Mitchell; and her grandson Clinton K. Mitchell.
She is survived by: her brother Lawrence A. Schultz III (Lynn) of Columbia; her children, David G. Dreis (Cheryl) of Chester and Laurie A. Mitchell of Vienna; and her grandchildren, Ellen Harcum (Nathan), Andrew Dreis (Taylor), Leah Mitchell-Kidd (Kevin) and Rachel Mitchell-Smisko (Daniel). She is also survived by eight great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Friday, March 7th 2025 at 12:00 PM at the St. John the Evangelist Catholic Church (118 E 2nd St, Frederick, MD 21701).
In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Frederick Health Hospice or the American Kidney Fund.
