It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Daniel W. Kemp of Frederick, Maryland, born in Takoma Park, Maryland, who passed away on June 8, 2023, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Kemp and Mary Smith Kemp. He is survived by: his daughters, Mary Elizabeth "Matie" Lee (Gary) of Middleburg and Rachel Winter Kemp of Frederick; his grandsons, Dakota Daniel Lee and Spencer William Lee; his siblings, Robert Kemp, Christopher Kemp and Mary Anne Anderson; his former wife Susan Heslin; and his pet Milo. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
The family suggest that expressions of sympathy be in the form of donations in Dan's name to Helping Up Mission, Baltimore, Maryland, or a charity choice.
