He was predeceased by: his parents, Harvey Dickerson and Marie Dickerson (Houtteman); and his brothers, Donald and Gary Dickerson. He is survived by: his wife Barbara Dickerson (Messick); his daughter Debby; his son-in-law Ray Curlett; his grandsons, Michael Curlett (Crystal) and Mark Curlett (Laura); his great grandchildren, Nick, Jake, Hannah, Sarah and Nate; his stepson Todd; his stepdaughter-in-law Dawn Slacum; his stepgrandsons, Seth Slacum, Remy Haynes and Foster Haynes; his mother-in-law Anna Mae Messick; and his sisters-in-law, Patsy Dickerson, Judy Dickerson and Linda Toadvine.

The family suggests donations to Greenwood Alumni Association, c/o Roger Butler, 3195 Andrewville Rd, Greenwood, DE 19950.
